     The Downes Company provides the professional guidance and assistance necessary to prepare and present an effective interviews and presentations to government agency and institutional selection committees. The key to a successful presentation is to apply a "personality" to the written response. Each selection committee has a specified format for addressing the selection criteria and critical issues. Often, the presenter team's perceptions of the elements of a successful presentation are not those of the selection committee. Our objective is to integrate our client's personality with the selection committee's criteria and critical issues.

We assist clients in developing an effective presentation that is based on quantitative responses. The result of our involvement during the presentation preparation is a cohesive interview that incorporates knowledge of the owner's process into the team's management structure, by demonstrating the team's capability to complete the project within specified guidelines. Presentation consulting services include:

  • Identifying the team's goals and objectives.
  • Preparing a detailed presentation outline.
  • Developing model charts and other presentation graphics.
  • Assisting presentation participants with narratives.
  • A presentation rehearsal, including viable "Questions and Answers".
